At Atwell College, our STEM Enrichment Program (AEP) is designed to challenge students and build on their self-management and reflection skills, developing well rounded independent learners. Skills developed by students through STEM provide them with the foundation to succeed at school and beyond. Employer demand for STEM qualifications and skills is high and will continue to increase in the future. STEM empowers individuals with the skills to succeed and adapt to this changing world.
Current Year 6 students who have an interest in STEM-related subjects are invited to apply for the Atwell College 2023 Stem Enrichment Program. STEM is the integrated teaching of Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics. STEM teaching develops skills such as problem-solving, creativity, critical analysis, teamwork, independent thinking, initiative, communication and digital literacy.
Atwell College has a range of facilities and equipment which have been specifically acquired to support our STEM subjects including a designated STEM Lab, STEM Room and Technologies which includes Industrial 3d Printers, laser cutters, computer labs, custom made competition tables and M-bots.
